Procession of Porsches (formerly Parade of Porsches)

This year the Parade of Porsches is also being referred to as the Procession of Porsches (PoP). This will be your final opportunity to take a drive with your fellow Porsche Parade attendees and enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery. It will be a drive up and down the East Coast in Boca Raton on Hwy A1A, a drive suggested by our PCA President, Tom Gorsuch who lives on the East Coast of Florida. A procession of only Parade registered Porsches is a farewell and thank you to the Boca Raton Area for hosting our week of fun filled Parade activities.

The Procession will start at the Boca Raton High School staging area heading east and south to Hwy A1A (N. Ocean Blvd.). Then The Procession will head north on A1A and turn around at the Boca Raton City Limits and head south on A1A back to the Resort. Total distance of the PoP drive is about 11 miles.

Driving directions for the PoP tour route will be provided at Parade Registration along with a PoP window decal.

The PoP WINDOW DECAL MUST BE DISPLAYED ON THE WINDSHELD OF YOUR PORSCHE TO BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PoP. ONLY PORSCHES THAT SIGNED UP FOR PoP DURING PHASE 2 REGISTRATION WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE STAGING AREA.

There will Volunteers at the staging area directing where to park. The staging area opens at 8:00AM. DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE STAGING BEFORE 8:00AM. There is nowhere to park before the staging area opens at 8:00AM. Allow 20 minutes to drive from the Resort to Boca Raton High School. It is a 4.5 mile drive with the route provided below.

If you want to grab a quick coffee or breakfast on the route to the staging area, there is a Dunkin’ Donuts, Panera Bread, Starbucks, and a McDonald’s on N. Federal Hwy, east side of the road not far past Glades Rd. going north. You then need to go south on N. Federal Hwy to get back onto the route to the staging area.

Once at the staging area please stay near your Porsche as group photos will be taken before we start departing at 9:00AM

Boca Rotan is a very busy area traffic wise. We will not have Police Escorts or Police Officers on the street corners directing traffic thus we will not be able to keep the local traffic from cutting into our procession. We planned this event early in the morning to reduce the local traffic issue. Be courteous to local traffic since we are representing PCA.

Driving Directions - Resort to Boca Rotan High School:

At the traffic circle, take 1st exit onto E. Camino Real. Go .5 miles
Turn right onto US-1 north, N. Federal Hwy. Go 1.5 miles
Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Glades Rd. Go 2.1 miles. (If you wish to stop for coffee or breakfast go straight on N. Federal Hwy. look for Dunkin’ Donuts, Panera Bread, Starbucks, and a McDonald’s on the right. To return to the route go south on N. Federal Hwy. to Glades Rd. and turn right.)
Turn left onto NW 15th Ave. Go .2 miles.
Turn right into main entrance of Boca Rotan High School.
Follow directions given by the Volunteers on where to park your Porsche.
