2019 Parade Kids!

2019 Parade Kids in Boca Raton promises to be a fun-filled adventure for the whole family. With so many things to do on site and great activities planned, all kids and juniors under 18 are welcome to join in accompanied by their parents! Our Kids activities are meant to introduce kids to one another and follow the adult Parade activities at a junior level. Lifelong friends have been forged here!

Register for Parade Kids during Parade event registration on April 15, 2019. Each kid will receive a Parade Kids T-Shirt and welcome bag at check-in. All Parade Kids registrants are welcome to participate in any or all of the listed activities below. All registered Parade Kids will also receive an impressive Parade medal.

Some Things to Know: Events and activities are designed for families to do together. Parade Kids provides childcare on Tuesday and Saturday evenings only. Some events require pre-registration and a separate fee. Please see below for details.

Below is a short description of the Parade Kids PCA activities planned for the week.

Parade Kids at the Pirelli Welcome Party: (Sunday) Stop by the Parade Kids Table at the Pirelli Welcome Party, where we will have a few special things to see and do – just for kids!

Miniature Car Concours: (Monday) The Tradition continues! Every kid (0-17 years) gets to paint a wooden toy car. The cars will be displayed for a “People’s Choice” vote, with awards given in each age group.

Hagerty Youth Judging: (Monday) Powered by Hagerty Classic Cars, the Youth Judging event teaches the next generation how to judge a Concours car. The Youth Judges will be divided up by age groups and given a short lesson in how to judge a concours car. The Youth Judges will then evaulate a concours-entered car, right beside the adult judges. The Youth Judges will present awards to the winning cars. All Youth Judges will receive a Hagerty Youth Judging hat, t-shirt and judges badge. Children must be at least 6 years old to participate in this event. Note: This event is free. However, pre-registration is required.

Little People’s Choice Concours Award: (Monday) The kids vote for their favorite Adult Concours car, and a trophy is awarded to that car’s owner.

Make and Take Crafts: (Tues, Wed, Friday) We make fun projects together and they are yours to keep! Craft projects will change daily. There will be age-appropriate crafts for little kids and big kids alike.

RC Cars: (Tuesday & Wednesday) Who doesn’t love remote control cars? Bring your own or borrow ours! Times will be listed to practice on the track and we have a competition later in the week with awards given in each age group.

Kids Camp/Childcare: (Tuesday) During the PCA National Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening, we will again be offering childcare. Children will be tie-dying t-shirts during this time, playing games, watch movies, and having fun. All ages are welcome, but all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Note: Pre-registration and a separate fee are required.
